A number line and fraction wall which shows the equivalence of fractions, decimals and percentages.

Fractions, Decimals and Percentages
The cancelled down fraction bar and the decimal and percentage scales can all be shown or hidden.

Here's what you do:

1. Select the type of fraction to be used by using the slider. Use the other buttons to: hide or show the cancelled down fraction hide or show the decimal scale hide or show the percentage scale
2. Drag the coloured bar from the left-hand side of the top fraction. The coloured bar will snap to the nearest fraction.
3. Show or hide the fraction, decimal or percentage by clicking on the rectangle.	$The fraction is hidden$ $The fraction is shown$

What Fraction is Pink?
A number of elephants are shown. Click on each one to turn it pink. What fraction of the elephants is pink? What is the percentage?

$What fraction is pink?$

1. Select the number of elephants to be used by using the slider, the maximum is 50.	Use the other buttons to: hide or show the cancelled down fraction hide or show the percentage scale show the elephants show squares instead of elephants Reset, start again
2. Click on an elephant to change its colour.
3. Squares can be displayed instead of elephants.
4. The elephants can be moved: click just above an elephant to reveal the 'move' button. The squares can also be dragged about.
